Consumers believe that Apple may be running out of ideas for the new iPhones. Given the iPhone 12’s small upgrade from the iPhone 11 and similar features to previous phones, many don’t plan on purchasing the iPhone 12. This is especially true since the phones no longer come with a charger or EarPods yet are still incredibly pricey.

Doesn't seem like the transition from the iPhone 7Plus to the 12Pro will be a huge difference in size and weight thankfully.

7Plus is still a pretty good phone I must say. But it's time. It doesn't get along well with my Car Play now, everytime I use the GPS the phone gets super hot and is basically unusable. Podcasts are somewhat slow loading now for some reason. Got a lot of years out of it though. Hopefully I can resell for $200 or so?

 

Yes, people are really going to be bummed about not getting that much needed 10th pair of EarPods.

Definitely weird! 5G isn’t cheap to manufacture at the moment I hear so no price increases was good IMO. Do I care about the charger or EarPods? Not at all! It’s actually massively helping the planet as well which is a huge plus for me. No 120hz is a bummer but I can understand why they didn’t go with it given the battery capacity atm.

I know a lot of people complain about the notch but I don’t mind it personally. Definitely better than the hole punch camera we see a lot these days. It will be awesome when they do get that under screen camera working in the future though.

 

I truly do not think a single person who would otherwise buy an iPhone 12 is now not going to because they don't include EarPods or a charger lmao

I feel like someone asked this a while back, so sorry if there is an answer, but now every time I turn my iPhone screen on I get the little notification tray saying my AirPods are connected. I get this is likely due to handoff but my pods are still in their case. may just be a quirk? but I'd love if handoff only gave that message notification if I started playing audio on my phone

 

also, just tried and I get the message notification but if I play something audio is still coming from my phone and not my pods

 

Are you using a beta version of the OS? I feel like this happened to me with a recent beta.

 

just spoke to a buddy that's switching from android for the first time. he's so stoked on magsafe he doesn't care about no brick in the box and he said he'd never use the wired buds anyway.

 

it's just something for losers to whine and complain about. I guarantee the majority of those people haven't removed the EarPods or brick from their phone box in the last 5 years

Didn't the iPhone 11 Pro/Max come with a different than the standard little cube brick that's been around for ages? Last one I got was a iPhone X, which doesn't even have USB-C.

Does anyone know if they got rid of in-lens stabilization completely, or just combined it with the sensor stabilization on the 12 Pro Max? Because both together always yields much better results on mirrorless full frame or APS–C cameras.

Every apple brick my fiance has owned broke within a year or two, so it is a little bit of a bummer they don't include them now. But yeah it's absolutely not a deal breaker and not going to stop anyone from buying it. I'd want to use a fast charger regardless

How are they breaking? I still have every one I’ve ever got from Apple dating back to my first iPhone (4) and they’re all as good as new.

 

Yeah I’ve literally never had one break. Especially the old cube ones..lol

 

Not sure if I’ll upgrade this year from my XS, but with the mini having an OLED screen, I really think I might get a 12 mini if I do upgrade.
