The new Brothers Osborne album is fantastic. The best guitar playing I’ve heard on a record this year.

Darlingside album is definitely worth a listen if you’re into vocal harmonies and/or the new Fleet Foxes album

This is pretty immediately my favorite thing they've ever done, so maybe you'll enjoy it more. I think on Pawn Shop they were still kind of hedging the bets of the kind of band they wanted to be (really this raucous, loud bar band with a lot of musicality) and trying to deliver something that could be palatable to a mainstream Nashville audience. They shed a little bit of that on the last album, playing around with different textures and influences outside of the country space, and they definitely do a lot of it this time, with a bunch of hopping across time signatures and some weirder, proggier experiments with their music. Lyrically, it's also just really smart and frequently funny.
