Eating some breakfast and listening to WYAINE right now. Need that new new so soon.

 

My prediction is this is the album where cwhit is outed as not being human. So probably why you would be bummed but a good bummed because cwhit can finally be true to himself.

I thought I read somewhere that it will be a full length. I thought he meant a good bummed because it's gonna be emotional as fuck, but who knows. Even if it is as long as WYAINE I will have no issues, that album is everything, love it, wish I could have picked up one of the vinyl's for it. I've been searching for one for so long.

 

Loved the concept, but I can't stand stamped record packaging. I take great care of the records I keep, but this wax has crumbled to bits over time without being touched.

Edit: On a separate note, these guys are one of my favorite active bands right now. Apathetic towards that album artwork, as I've adored their minimal designs, but I'm sure this will be a top release this year.

 

I'd normally be a bit bummed about building hype to unveil a two song EP, but the total transparency of that announcement goes a long way. Feeling lucky to be getting anything at this point!

 

I'm sure these two songs will amount to a 10+ minute single anyway. Good to know there's a full length on its way

Didn't realise it was only two songs. Can't pretend I'm not a little upset but dang I'm so happy to have new Athletics in my life.

 

These two songs reminds me a lot about the evolution of Moving Mountains and their latest record. Damn, this was good.
