  1. your restaurant budget would be like $75k a year

  2. It's almost like funny money to me at that point. I know the psychologists and studies say everyone ends up acclimating to it and it becomes the new normal, but I really can't wrap my head around the idea of that much disposable income. I feel in some hypothetical world where I made money like that I'd feel like I had to just put half away because these people are insane for giving me that much money and when I get found out I'd want a nest egg. I really can't get my brain to even think about what to do with that on a regular basis. That's like, what, 33k a month? lol. Jesus.

  3. Eating out for every meal would be a very real possibility. :crylaugh:

talking to some of the parents of friends/more-so professors and people at megan's firm ... it really do be like that

a dude there recently had his small firm bought out where, while the firm did good business, his "salary" was fairly small since he was paying all the costs of operating the firm ... now he's a partner at megan's firm and making, honestly, probably pretty close to 400k and is like .... "what do I do with this shit"

That's the insane thing. I could put away 3/4 of it and still feel like I wouldn't know what to do with the leftover

Going to be interesting to see how much of this turns out to just be a temporary bump that'll go away once the "TRUMP BEAT COVID" propaganda sets in and how much is actually a result of the hospitalization shattering the illusion for many people.

Also, especially after all the "dems infected Trump" nonsense the right spun... certainly wouldn't be surprised if we see some crazed people try and get Biden infected to "even the playing field"

  10. If only I could figure out how to monetize these emails I get on a daily basis ...

If I made 400k I would probably eat out almost every meal and then buy one of those industrial dishwashers so I could do dishes in like 30 seconds.

  12. The government failing at every step and private companies, or celebrities, needing to "fix" it is a really bad spot to be in for the future.

If you make 400k a year, work for 5 m-10 years on a 100K salary then retire stress free. No need to buy into lifestyle creep.

If I made $400k I'd buy an average suburban home, a Lexus, and go to the Bahamas on vacation yearly. And then probably live exactly the same as I do now, other than upgrading my phone and laptop a lot more often lol

We'd honestly ditch the farming community and move to the city. My husband lived there for college and we always said if we could afford it, thats where we'd end up. This whole living 11 miles away from even a convenience store/gas station sucks. And even then, I'd be so confused by how anyone could have that much disposable income.

If I had that kind of money, I'll tell you what I'd do, man: two chicks at the same time, man. I always wanted to do that, man. And I think if I were a millionaire I could hook that up, too; 'cause chicks dig dudes with money. Well, at least the type of chicks that'd double up on a dude like me do.
