I have listened to The Used for 18 years and I literally have no idea which part is Yungblud and which part is Bert on Body Bag...can anyone let me know? I'm serious.

 

The song finished and I was like wait where's Bert's verse?

 

I feel like Bert is only on the chorus? I thought the first verse was him but you can definitely hear YUNGBLUDs accent towards the end.

 

Bert is on the choruses, I believe.

"Can't Look Back" is my new favorite track on TTMD. Definitely one of the grittier tracks.

 

This album is neck and neck with Joji for the #1 spot this week. Explains why they rushed out a deluxe edition a few days after release.
Would be insane to see: 1) MGK have a #1 album, and 2) a rock album in the top spot in 2020.

Also I have no idea who Joji is lol.

 

The "Misery Business" chorus just ain't the same without Hayley's vocal prowess. The gravel in the throat vocals just ... not gonna cut it.

 

Yup. That chorus is quite underwhelming without Hayley's voice. The other bonus songs are great though.

 

Joji getting the #1 would be cool. He’s FilthyFrank on YouTube who has gone by numerous aliases and popularized the harlem shake dance years ago.

 

"Split A Pill" is really good

 

It's definitely Bert in the chorus but yeah they sound so similar it's wild!

 

Some of you didn't grow up with The Used and it SHOWS. Yungblud sounds like a b-rate version of Bert on this song, yes, but it's pretty clear where Bert is singing vs Yungblud

 

holy shit that Misery Business cover is somehow the most embarrassing thing on here, when he gets to the chorus I had to turn it off

The only two things I've been able to tolerate Yungblud on are MGK songs, go figure

 

I have never even heard him on anything other than Body Bag and I Think I'm Okay (or whatever that other MGK song is called). And even on that song, I thought he sounded exactly like Bert.

 

I generally enjoy his features, but cannot stand his original stuff. His BMTH feature is fun, I love his Halsey feature, his marshmello song. I didn’t care about him at all until I heard his previous song with MGK.

 

Yeah, it was blatantly obvious to me where Bert was and wasn't, haha

 

Yungblud sounds like a b rate cardboard cutout of Bert when he’s trying to sound exactly like that. Doesn’t sound like that all of the time - like on the new BMTH track.

Definitely think Body Bag is a good track though.

It sounds like they put both vocals by Bert and Yungblud together in the chorus, but Bert is the only one at the end of it. Yungblud does the first verse, very obviously him to me? Then, the second chorus MGK is on top of both vocals. Yungblud is the bridge. Then at the end it is definitely Yungblud.

The Misery Business cover was recorded during lockdown but yeah I don’t think they should have included it for the deluxe.

 

That Misery Business cover came out on March 26th, 11 days into quarantine. And here we are
