That’s legit as hell.

 

The market is fucked for every product, look at healthcare so of course that’s a legitimate concern but let’s not act like legalization isn’t important. I represent people who are evicted from public housing for possession of small amounts of marijuana. This is all because it is “illegal drug activity” which the racists who wrote the statute made sure was a reason for eviction regardless of whether it has affected anyone. So take the “illegal” away and it makes a huge difference in people’s lives, especially poor people.

Huh, almost as if the legalization fight is about more than just being able to smoke a joint whenever you want to. Who knew.

 

I agree completely that the benefit of legalization is that but when poor people can't get marijuana for a price they can afford then they are going to turn to the black market again. So again they are open to laws that deter that. Not to mention the health impacts that will potentially come from that since a good majority of that weed on the black market in a ton of states is cartel weed that has numerous pesticides and chemicals on it.

Legalization also has raised prices on the medical market which again will hurt poor people from getting their medicine.

Legalization is a great idea but like everything in this country it was hamfisted and half-baked in that allowed rich, white people to control yet again another market.

My office has ordered us all back to work full time on Monday. Meanwhile, one of the biggest local school districts also just voted to return to school full time starting Monday. Also Whitmer is opening businesses like movie theaters back up next week as well.
