Not a fan of Invisible Man!?

 

I think if I could pick any old movie to see in theaters, it would be Alien

 

Got the house to myself tonight and for once, I'm not working overtime. Just started Uncle Sam and I'm going to follow it up with either Maniac Cop or Fade to Black

 

idk it wasn't bad it just didn't affect me emotionally as much as I feel like it should have.

 

I managed to snag two of fifty tickets to a 12 hour werewolf movie marathon in the woods for Halloween night. First two movies are an American werewolf (of course) and the howling. The rest will be a surprise and I am stoked.

 

How’s Uncle Sam?

I’ve only seen Maniac, which I love despite it being way more disturbing than I usually go for, and I’ve been planning to watch Maniac Cop soon.

 

Only half an hour in, it's surprisingly watchable but also not having nearly as much fun with it's premise as I was hoping. Kinda expects you to take it seriously lol.

I actually copped Maniac as a part of the same sale. I don't remember much about that one other than being impressed with Spinell's performance.

 

This sounds like crazy fun. Though depending on what time it started, I’m not sure I could go a full twelve hours. Not anymore anyhow.

 

TIL that Chris Landon (Happy Death Day, Freaky) is the son of Michael Landon from Little House on the Prairie and Bonanza. And his niece is Rachel Matthews, the bully girl in the HDD movies

 

I tried to watch the devil’s rejects but I couldn’t make it 30 mins. Zombie’s hillbilly horror with the f-word every 10 seconds just isn’t for me

 

I still love House of 1000 Corpses. The Devil's Rejects had diminishing returns for me but I still think it's better than anything that followed

 

I saw the devil’s rejects a long time ago and from what I remember I thought it was Zombie’s best film when it comes to cinematography, acting, etc. but it’s just so vile. Still haven’t seen 3 From Hell and I doubt I ever will

 

forever alone in thinking Lords Of Salem is the best Rob Zombie movie lol

 

That's something I always think about when revisiting his first Halloween film. That's another one I partially enjoy, but there's a line about "skullfucking" someone within the first like 15 minutes of the film that Gourley and Rust pointed out and now it always takes me out of the film

 

Devil’s and Corpses both rule for different reasons

 

Uncle Sam was fine but should have been way more interesting/fun to watch considering its premise. Gonna do Fade to Black next.

 

Is The Green Inferno any good? Might watch it after the Raiders game

 

This has been on my list for so long, but I'm not an Eli Roth fan and I've heard so many mixed things that I never seem to get to it

 

Just watch Green Room instead if I’m giving that color recommendation.

 

Green Room is excellent

 

Just finished watching The Hallow. That was one entertaining son of a bitch.

 

Does Shudder only let you use a certain amount of free trial codes? Been trying to use another but it's not letting me lol
