Exclusivity will be case by case

 

So Fallout, Doom, Wolfenstein, and Elder Scrolls will definitely be safe but I imagine the smaller or new IPs will be exclusives. Just my guess though.

 

what we are all here to see

 

i think starfield still sees a muli platform release. at the very least its timed for a year to xbox and if thats the case ill play it on pc for a year

I wouldn’t be surprised if the games are Microsoft exclusive in a few years. Sure Todd says they won’t but they currently have games planned for Sony too. Once those are completed and released I could see it changing.

i dont think so i think everything thats already been announced will see release on ps5 pc and xbox. you cant be like we announced this game said years ago and said its coming to next gen consoles including the ps5 and series x but now its not coming to ps5. that would piss alot of people off. i think games after starfield and elder scrolls 6 is when you see xbox/pc only games

 

I think Doom could very well go exclusive, being a smaller shooter franchise

Bethesda has always been multi-platform. i dont think this deal with Microsoft changes anything. they would lose out on a shit ton of sales from people buying games on the ps5. plus the deal is to push gamepass and xcloud and that brand. i dont think it has anything to do with making future games xbox only. and if 10 million people sign up for ultimate over the next 4 years the deal will pay for it self according to something i saw on twitter

the thing about the new one is marvel went to insomniac and they are owned by sony so.... they could have went to any other company and it still could have been multi

Microsoft likes money too much to make everything exclusive. But things will almost certainly be timed + flat out exclusive to Xbox/PC. I do think Starfield will end up being exclusive but not something like ES.

Bethesda games likely out Day One on Gamepass is pretty massive though.

 

and even if starfield and es6 end up xbox only i dont give a shit cuz i can play them on pc.... also people that end up buying both consoles wont be effected either.

I just find it odd that a lot of comments on social media from people who were pro PlayStation exclusives are now against console exclusives this morning

 

ummm microsoft owns the people that make minecraft and yet that game still came to ps4 and will prolly be on ps5.
and like people have said Microsoft likes money too much to make massive games xbox only. they would lose out on millions and millions of sales by not releasing on ps5.

but like ive said time will tell.
