I wish he would've gone into a little more detail on some of those, but it was still interesting. That stinks about Raskulinecz not being as present as they would've liked on KNY, but him saying DE and KNY being viewed as a pair of albums makes sense.

 

Hearing Chino talk about growing up and living apart from his childhood best friends but still making the effort to get together and spend time... Stars, they’re just like us.

Was listening to those today and the verses on this one feel quite similar to Ohms

 

I've never been into this band, but I love the tone of Ohms. Decided to go back and listen to Gore. Doomed User is such a fucking jam. Hopefully I can get into a lot more of their discog.

Haven't even listened to Ohms yet. I'm dying, but I'm waiting.

 

Kinda a bummer that nothing leaks nowadays, singles getting pushed back to where we've only heard one song 10 days out, record sales are shit outside of hardcore fans buying vinyl... yet the mastering-to-release promo period doesn't seem to get any shorter.

 

Deftones wants you to listen to the song(Ohms). CHINO wants you to listen to the song. Just listen to it. Its out there for a reason. Throw your ocd out the window and let it get run over by a car.

not ocd. I'm just wanting to hear the whole album in context at once. I have dozens of other albums in my queue to listen to for the next week. I can wait.
