All I honestly care about is getting that invitation for the ps5 pre orders. I’m set with a gaming pc to play every game coming to the series x since they will all be on gamepass.

 

We are 55 days away from the start of November so I think we get release dates and price points at some time this month especially if they are the first 1-2.5 weeks of November to launch

 

Xbox one X is likely to stop production with the Series S coming. I don’t see them producing both when they’re kinda the same with minor differences

I don’t think they will wait til a month. They are coming at some point this month before launch to say something. It Won’t be Tokyo game show tho. Microsoft said they have no next gen news to share during their press conference and Sony won’t even be at tgs

 

It is part of the conversation because it's part of the Xbox Series run, not the Xbox One run. It's clearly being released to be the entry level and the new standard option for anyone who wants an easy and complete experience for the NEXT generation without sacrificing so much to be part of the last.

If they produce both at the same time then the Series S will have to be at least somewhat stronger than the One X. It just wouldn’t make sense to have 2 separate consoles with the same specs to be in production simultaneously. Especially with the Series S being $150 cheaper.

 

That’s why I said it would get a permanent price drop to match the series s. They will still produce everything. I mean look at the ps2 that was in production for 10 years plus. Well into the ps3 life cycle. They will produce the one x till prolly November of next year or the following year so people that don’t want to upgrade or don’t want to jump on next gen can still get a console. Im sure the ps4s will still be made for another year or 2

 

Yeah but the difference is that the newer Xbox console will be starting off at a lower price than the One X is currently at. It would be like the PS3 selling for $400 2 months prior to launch of the PS4 that will be $300. Only for the last gen console to be lowered to the same price as the new gen console? It wouldn’t make sense that way.

 

They should stop the one x production as that won’t play next gen only third party games like Resident Evil Village, but series s will.

 

Xbox One X has already been discontinued.

 

This whole Xbox series x/s conversation doesn't even concern me since I won’t be getting either since I have a more powerful pc then either of those will be. And the fact that I have a Xbox one x. It was a nice conversation to have tho about the series x/s. The Price for the ps5 doesn’t concern me either. No matter the price I’ll still be getting one launch day/week

 

I wish Sony would launch something to make custom controllers like Microsoft did with the Xbox design labs. Id love to make my own custom ps5 controller with a kick ass color scheme

 

And a custom ps5 while they’re at it lol
