Tony Hawk is so good. I’ve played the Demo a bunch.

 

Yesss I can't wait to play some Tony Hawk and have that soundtrack on repeat again. I really wish it was being released on Switch though.

Can't decide if it's worth the preorder of $60 from Walmart or cross my fingers that they don't sell out in-store where it'll likely just be $49 like literally all of their other Switch games

3D all stars definitely seeming like a smart digital purchase just in case you lose or damage your cartridge after March 2021.

But I had a $10 Best Buy credit so physical it is.

Seriously though, if they stop selling it digitally, does it still somehow show up in the eShop only if you've purchased it? I'm not familiar with any other games that have done that?

 

I pre-ordered physical for 2 reasons. 1) Games are stupidly expensive in Canada, and the resale on first party Nintendo titles is like $60-$70 easy, and I’m not a collector, and 2) with this being a limited release, I feel like a physical might end up being a little more valuable than normal in time.

 

Yeah, screw it, I just pre-ordered on Amazon. Says it should arrive on launch day so I'm excitedd.

Is Nintendo not remastering Mario 64? The screenshots on the Amazon listing look worse than the OG DS version lol

 

Had a $40 Amazon credit, so that made the decision easy for me.

 

Was gonna pre-order and waited. Brother in law whom I love dearly hasn’t played anything between 64 and Odyssey and I know he was hyped but couldn’t afford it due to his hours being cut so I smashed two on that preorder. Will be worth it to see someone I love enjoy Sunshine for the first time

 

Soo excited to play Sunshine for the first time in over a decade. Still no idea where my original went. Also, never played Galaxy so that will be really cool to finally try. Strange that they didn't include Galaxy 2 though

 

What’s most surprising to me about this collection is when it’s releasing. I thought for sure this was going to be an October/November release and act as Nintendo’s “holiday title” this year. With this in a couple weeks and the Pikmin port in October, that leads me to believe there’s something else coming that we don’t know about yet. Not saying it’s going to be a huge heavy hitter, but I don’t see any way Nintendo go into the holiday season without something else.

Shit is so good right now. I've got Tony Hawk on the way. Then Mario in two weeks. Then Pikmin deluxe at the end of October. And you're right, Nintendo tends to roll out something new and huge in November or December. Even if they don't have anything else up their sleeve for November and December I'm pumped about playing restored versions of games I know I love.

 

Finally put in my preorder for the Mario collection. Didn’t want to risk it being hard to find in the stores.

 

I do wonder if they are going to do a special collectors edition or is this just it and like all the 35th anniversary stuff is just the big thing

 

I was gonna buy Ghost of Tsushima with the paycheck I just got but that game isn't going to be inexplicably pulled from existence so I'll preorder this instead

Bravely Default 2 still hasn’t been delayed out of 2020 yet so there’s always a chance that’s coming in November.

 

OMG. Fuck Amazon. I had Tony Hawk pre-ordered for a couple weeks now and those assholes sent me a notification today saying the new estimated delivery is Oct 1st-Nov 1st. They better not pull this shit with my Mario order.

 

Damn, this is my first time pre-ordering through Amazon so I'm going to be pissed if that happens. Are you a Prime user?
