Okay since I'm dead from missing this vinyl I'm gonna talk about FY instead.

I was driving listening to FY the other day and I got a bit emotional when Better Life came on.

When you fall, when you break, when you wish you didn't feel
Keep your head, don't forget, it's the pain that makes us real

These lyrics really speak to me, always have. But I've lived that feeling from the first line a few times over the last years since I first heard this album. It really helps, this band has left a mark on me.

Thank you to them and I hope they can find a way to come back.

Okay I missed this. I'm curious about hearing a remastered version as I prefer David Bedenth's mix of Better Life much more than the compressed/thin original one. It's the only thing that really irks me with the album overall. It should've sounded huge.

Mine has shipped but I moved so I think it's gonna be a bit delayed and cost me a bit more on delivery. Still VERY excited about this and the yellow tee!

 

Update: mine showed up today! Orange variant is really great looking, and the tee is perfect. No download card for me either, tweeted at them to hopefully find out what's up with that.

 

I emailed them and they said the shipping manager wanted to get the vinyls out early, and that they'll email the codes once the album is released on streaming, 9/18.

was kind of bummed because I wanted to hear, through headphones, the production differences, but the drums and guitars sound relatively different to my ears so far.

 

Do we know if Broken Kingdoms is a new song or older?
