well he doesn't have one in philly either, I forgot Bradford was even on the team until just now maybe wentz but that remains to be seen

I agree that DGB's stock will rise when Wentz becomes the starter

 

They've made good moves but not the best moves. Had they gone Tunsil, Jack, A'Shawn Robinson, Carl Nassib/Darian Thompson, Paul Perkins, and one or two of Wright, Mills, and Matakevich, then that's a scary draft.

 

Also from one preseason game it looked like my hunch about the QBS this year could be right. Even though Goff is more mentally NFL ready than Wentz... the Eagles scheme certainly looked much more friendly to Wentz and he was able to look pretty good while Goff looked like trash trying to do pro dropbacks behind that O line.

I think had neither of them gotten hurt, Wentz would almost certainly put up better numbers per game started just because he's not being asked to change too much about the way he plays.

 

Well I guess I'll hold on to him another year but I'm not opposed to cutting ties for a fair deal. He was apparently a mess for Tennessee, never coming in and shape and apparently "didn't try hard enough". Not great signs, especially with the background issues... Of all the teams to try to turn him around? Not super high on it but he will 100% get way more chances...

 

I've hard part of it was Robinson being undermined by lebeau and malarkey, if so... Gross.
They're probably gonna pound the ball like every play Lol also the same team that gained 46 yards on 2 plays fans called and 3 yards on the next three they called themselves lol

 

Apparently Lane Johnson told the front office about his failed test on July 30th.

 

I think if you have pick 1 overall and trade for millions of picks you better make the best moves, otherwise the team didn't take advantage of their position in that draft

You can have a "pretty good" draft at pick 25 with no trades. The Ravens and Bengals do it almost every year. I actually think there are late drafting teams that did better than the Titans without contest.

 

I want the Titans to have to pick top 2 again so badly

 

I want the Eagles and Browns to have the top two picks.

I wanna see the Jags defense just SPANK Mariota for barely winning a game last year in which we gave him the ball in the red zone twice off fumbled snaps

Dennis Kelly is so bad and Howi knows better lineman will be cut soon so it's a no brainer from that aspect.

DGB hasn't done much in Ben league but I like his potential and Kelly is the ultimate scrub so it's good from my view.

 

Can't wait till j.banks is traded for scrap depth. Waste of a 2nd rounder from years back.

Breaking News - Titans trade Green-Beckham to Eagles

 

DGB had one year with a rookie QB on a bad team and put up decent numbers. Now he's traded for a backup guard. He's too talented to give up on this early.

 

Could've been insubordinate in camp, he has documented issues with authority. Really the only reason why a talented player on a rookie contract would ever get shipped off for cheap.

In which case it would still be the Titans bad for drafting a guy with major legal and character concerns

 

Mike Mularkey is terrible. You realize the Jags fired him after one year for Gus Bradley hahaha.

Not saying the Jags judgment has been remotely consistent or a good frame of reference, but the team went 2-14, no leaders stood out, and the whole roster lost faith in his uncreative coaching style and lack of enthusiasm as a motivator midway through. The Jags were pretty low from 2008 to 2014 but the lowest point was definitely 2012 when Mularkey was coaching. Just hard to watch, every loss was so dismal and uninspired. It was so bad that that's when Wayne Weaver sold the team to Shad Khan.

 

I dont think anyone is defending how bad he is. I just think they want to pound it and play old school ground and pound with good defense. One thing they really still suck at... Corners.

 

Yeah they draft one of the best read option/zone-run/west coast passing college QBs of all time... and put him in a gap oriented downhill running and downhill passing scheme.

That's even worse than what the Rams are doing with Goff.

 

I do think LeBeau is going to make that Titans defense pretty hard to predict or gameplan for though. He does a good job covering all the bases with his zone coverage concepts and making the opposing QB have to think several steps ahead

 

I mean it worked for Alex smith, they probably want to play keep away to keep their bad defense off the field. Mularkey is getting fired after this year though, id be shocked if he wasn't. I wonder who bon jovi will hire as hc :P
