Peninsula kinda sucked. Not a horror movie. Barely a zombie movie. Kids were great. Last act was kinda cool.

 

This is prob my fave thread on this site. Just wanted to mention that!!

 

Y’all’s reviews are depressing the shit out of me. I’ve been looking so forward to this sequel!

 

The CGI seriously looked like the Crash Test Dummies animated series from 1990.

 

my expectations were low from the start, so I'll take whatever

 

Gonna check out Haunt now

Haunt is a fun one

 

Cherry picked a Joe Bob movie from the most recent season of TLDI and ended up watching Deadbeat at Dawn. Wow, just wow.

 

Deadbeat at Dawn was nuts

 

Features some of the greatest nunchuck usage ever. Love that movie.

 

Honestly though. Some of the stunts throughout (especially at the end) were crazy as well. Jim Van Bebber is a madman.

 

His movie about the Manson murders is worth a watch as well. Very disturbing though.

 

I thought it was pretty fun. Didn't love it but it did what it needed to do

 

Finally got around to seeing, "These Final Hours." Not necessarily horror, but has some elements. Extremely happy with it...what a ride.

 

Just finished watching the first 3 Hellraiser films for the first time in probably 20 years or so.

Are we not gonna talk about Hellraiser 3 and it’s nonstop De Palma shots? That really bothered me more than anything else

 

Uncle Peckerhead was really fun, definitely falls flat in places, but the heart and gore is there along with a few solid laughs that do land (especially the terrible emo band). The guy that played Peck was great.

The concept seems strong enough to be some fun.

Watching “The Deadly Spawn” now. Quality looks like a VHS rip. I’m hype

 

Well..a storm knocked my neighbors tree down onto the power lines when I was only 6 minutes in. I’ll let you know tomorrow evening haha.
