I wish the WNBA got the pub they deserve for being out in front of even the NBA on protesting. They’ve been protesting for years and getting 1/10th of the coverage.

Twitter is really depressing tonight. It’s just filled with people happy people are killing protesters. Defending murder. Can’t shake that this is going to get worse.

Anyone have a news source that proves or shows evidence that the 17 year old had already killed someone before the viral footage of him acting in "self defense"? So far I've only seen tweets about it.

I’m this close to smashing my phone. I just can’t stop doom scrolling but it feels like my brain is on fire. Best I could do was play drums uninterrupted for maybe 40 minutes earlier today.

 

what still pisses me off about Trayvon Martin’s murder is Zimmerman defenders saying he killed him in self defense as evidence to the injuries he sustained from the confrontation. If you were a teenager and a man twice your size came lunging after you unprovoked, you’d definitely fight back trying to get him off of you!

 

Remember when Birdman said exactly that and we thought he was gonna be the insane outlier and now we’re here ...?

 

I don’t have a link handy at the moment but I watched all the videos that were out there this morning. A dude was chasing the shooter and threw something at him. Shooter turned and fired, killing him. Then a little later he was running down the street being chased. He tripped and a couple people ran to attack him. Guy with skateboard attacked him on the ground and he got shot point blank. He died. And a guy with a pistol ran up but then put his hands up and got shot in the arm. Then the shooter got up and walked down the street towards cops and armored vehicles and walked past them as people were yelling that he just shot someone.

 

Jesus. How does this country somehow find a way to reach a new low every single day

 

I can’t believe we have to have a conversation about a nut job showing up with a rifle and if he was legally allowed to kill people in “self defense” ... my brain is going to fucking melt.

The guy had already killed someone...so if we're using George Zimmerman logic, literally everyone else that rushed up to him after that is fighting for their lives and defending themselves. If the guy killed once, why wouldn't he kill again? Gotta chase him to make sure, right? That's what you all told me when Trayvon Martin was killed.
