Yeah. That's why they enable mass unemployment, even in the best of times. Capitalism without welfare requires a highly on-display punishment for not participating. But if enough people call their bluff, they have no power.

 

You ever have one of those days where there is so much bad shit happening that your brain can't even process all of it and shuts down? This is one of those days.

 

And I’m trying to figure out how to get people to call their bluff. Like if I talk to one of my unemployed friends right now they’ll tell me to fuck off they have bills to pay and will take any job. I have no idea how to even begin that conversation.

 

It's already come a long way in a few years. The more people they fuck over, the less of them they have control over.

In completely unimportant news but depressing for me none the less, the best pizza place around here is closing. They were a legit Italian restaurant but were known for their pizza and as a miracle for sticking in a mall for 40 years and actually being good food.

apparently the mall is under new ownershhip and The new owners wouldn’t really work with them, I assume on rent. Hopefully they Turn up somewhere else.
