Checked out the Kruelty and Terminal Nation records this week, real ass beaters

 

The Eternal Champion song was pretty good. Nowhere near the level of "I Am The Hammer" but that song is incredible. Tomorrow they're gonna release the album info. Hopefully it's more than like 7 songs with two interludes

 

And their old label was Nuclear War Now! which is also a weird fit. But whatever works for them I guess.

 

Holy Roar takeover on ArcTanGent’s FB today. It’s a load of pre-recorded “live” stuff the bands have done. Some are just one or 2 songs but the Møl performance on part 2 is particularly great and is a nice long set from them.

They’ve also got loads of other bit a popping up over the weekend on their socials. The times in bst but I’m fairly certain that’s just when they’re publishing stuff and that you’ll be able to watch them anytime.

 

The Bad Opinions thread is on a roll today. Some pretty outlandish takes on AIC. I grabbed some popcorn and had a good laugh!

I'm a month late on this but I loved the new mis sigs. Took me back to controller.

 

Prob my most played still since its release.

 

I listened to it last week. It’s good, fine. Definitely not a bad record by any means, I probably would’ve liked it a lot more years ago. “Old Ghosts” and “Sunlifter” are my favorite tracks

 

Sunlifter is amazing. The Fall and Cascade Locks grew on me the most. I just think their style of melodic hardcore elements blending with metal is perfectly done every album, like no other band can and Jesse really surprised me with how good he sounds after years away from writing/singing. More than just a sufficient 5th album for me.

 

ATREYU Part Ways with Vocalist Alex Varkatzas

 

He was always the vocalist I felt was the “throatiest” screamer I’d ever heard when they were big, if that makes any sense. I didn’t hate them, but awful morons in high school loved them so it made me a bit indifferent.
