Didn't get to put many twists and personalizations on this one - feels largely like a re-hash of Extreme Rules. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, I'm okay with SS being a big blowoff show.... as long as that's actually what they do with it.

Think I went Interference on all the matches. I think Vince is in my head with all the “you didn’t see it coming” and there being ANOTHER PPV next weekend. Don’t trust any of these to go down clean

I honestly was expecting Ciampa to interfere and cost Kross the match. That would have been way way more satisfying. Also, I want Aleister Black back in NXT ASAP.

Holy shit, did not expect McAfee to do what he did last night. Hella impressive, bar that one move that he was clearly jumping into before Cole had even performed it haha. Definitely the best non wrestler in a wrestling match for a very long time. Certainly didn’t make Cole look bad either, despite what a few of the kids kept saying.

Couldn’t really enjoy the ladder match because of the dickhead in it. Which is a shame because the other 4 put on a hell of a show.

I’m definitely starting to struggle watching wrestling at the moment. Haven’t watched any wrestling the day after like I normally do for a couple of months now. I got used to the no fans thing pretty quick, but Takeovers are one of the main events that’s desperately missing the fans.

 

Samoa Joe is apparently the voice of King Shark in the new "Suicide Squad" game coming out

 

I hope they go with the same route as the Harley Quinn show for him. Funchess is so good in that role.

I was torn between Black and Joe, and figured Black was more likely.

 

I watched takeover and I dont know if it was that I was not invested in the feuds since I havent watched in months but it was just meh to me

So naturally the lights are going to go out during the main event and Drew and Randy will be surrounded by retribution. They do the nexus style beat down and unmask. And it’s the Elite. Then Tony Khan is at the top of the ramp shaking hands with Vince. The name on the contract does say Khan but it says Vince McKhan. Where you at Triple P?
