And who on NXT can legitimately beat Kross - it’s gonna be an Asuka run with the title right? Maybe the Demon Finn? I dunno - Kross being champ makes me tune out of NXT’s men division - there is no realistic challenger for him

 

On the other hand AEW was incredible and the Brodie Lee booking was perfect

didn't Cole say he wanted to stay in NXT instead of going to the main roster? if yes (i may be confusing him with another person, or several people) i could totally see this being Vince's way of punishing him. super short-sighted? of course, but this is Vince McMahon.

or, Vince just really thinks this works and sells and / or someone else convinced him this works and sells. i tend to believe Vince has no idea who Pat McAfee is since he lives wrestling 24/7, so i imagine it has to be someone close to him (not Triple H, i'd be shocked if Trips is game (ha) for all of this)

it pays to be heel in NXT

 

Funny you typed that, because everything I was reading reminded me of how they book a Shane match. It starts to drag out longer than you'd think and suddenly 5 crazy spots and 10mins later it was somehow a 15min match that worked.

Yes, this was rumored for Cole, but that was back before WM and back into 2019 before that. Reading the match blogs, this seems to me like how you'd face turn Cole/TUE. Though, since WWE is basically done touring for 2020 and probably well into 2021, maybe he changes his mind and goes main roster through WM or something.

 

Haven’t watched takeover yet but shocked to see that Finn got a win
