If I'm the GM of a contender or a team on the verge of contention, I'd pay him $15M-$20M for sure. He has to be accounted for and he's extremely disruptive. He makes life a lot easier for LBs that play behind him.

The injury risk is a bit overblown with him. But as we saw with Gerald McCoy's contract, injury clauses can be part of any contract.

I don't care for Adam Gase, but he's actually pretty awesome when he's just talking football. Was this the case when he was with Miami?

He's clearly a super sharp football mind. I just think he'd be better off cutting ties with Loggains and giving playcalling duties to an established OC.

 

the problem in Miami was a lot of the beat writers would antagonize him and they would not stay on "just football"

I know the dude is super passionate but I know that a lot of the players just got tired him after a year or two
