I mean I can't speak to the difficulty ramping up yet but most people said it was easier than the From Soft games.

Without wanting to spoil anything, apparently there's an accidental sequence break you can do and forgo picking up the parry, just so you know.

 

yeah every review I’ve read/watched so far has said this is easier than any of the Souls games

you're not wrong. fuck those things, one even spawned in front of Sestar for some dumb reason

and I have no idea how people are saying this is easier. I can't even get a boss down to half health before I'm killed by some attack that very clearly didn't hit me. Exploration isn't fun when you're running into the same respawning group of enemies that you have to slowly fight

 

I did also forget that I hardcore played Pokémon Go for a year and a half but I think I try to block that out.

Mortal Shell is really cool but goddamn these load times after death are A T R O C I O U S

 

I remember Bloodborne having absurdly long load times on launch, but at least there was lore/item descriptions to read. Mortal Shell will show one, then go to black for 25 seconds, and then a woman screams at you before you finally respawn.

I wish I could parry. Not like “I wish I was good enough to parry” but I wish hitting L1 even attempted to parry. I have the seal and everything, but maybe 1/25 times I try to parry I’ll actually do the animation.

 

Apparently there’s a sound cue for the parry that sounds like a sword clashing?! Does that help? I’m about to dive back in so I’ll report back haha

 

got my first fall guys win and it felt incredible

 

this is coming out next friday, featuring heavy rougelike elements apparently.

looks like BOTW tho so I'm buying. It's coming to all platforms including Switch, Steam and PS4.

Might be a lot to ask but what are the absolute best side quests in The Witcher 3 that I definitely shouldn't miss? I've finished the main story and Hearts of Stone and plan on playing Blood and Wine soon but is there a list or something of the best missable stuff? Once I finish Blood and Wine I'm probably gonna put the game down

 

I don’t remember there being a lot of filler so I’d at least start as many of them as you can and abandon them if necessary

 

yeah, the one where you get the old lady's frying pan is the best side quest of the whole game tbh

 

the side quests in the game are better than most main quests.
