The amount of people losing their shit about AEW being moved a couple dates because of the NBA playoffs (Go Raptors) is hilarious

I feel like cody is temporarily a tweener and he’ll go full heel soon. That’s my hope anyway.

 

feel like Cody going heel with a new 4 Horseman type deal (probably with Spears and FTR) would really do wonders

 

I don't watch much AEW, but surely having at least one non-WWE guy in their iteration of the 4 Horseman would be better idea? Have Tully turn on Spears with a new guy and then build Spears as a face?

It would also be something that would get me interested in Cody for the first time in about 7 years haha

 

I still stick by my initial thought that virtual fans are fucking stupid. Well, unless they're this:

 

WWE spent the last decade signing every and any available wrestler cuz there was no competition so any new promotion is gonna be littered with former WWE guys because that was the only game in town for years. So I don't buy that as a criticism when people mention all the former WWE having big roles in AEW or other promotions.

 

When I was in middle school I would play/wrestle with our dogs in the basement and I called it the Thunderdome and it got to the point the dogs knew the word and what it meant and when I’d say it they’d start howling with excitement and get all crazy so I find it hilarious that that’s the name The E chose lol

They have plenty of non WWE guys on their roster. They could use any one of them. But hey, it's a business decision at the end of the day. Having established names in their new 4 Horsemen makes sense too.

AEW deserves criticism for a handful of things it has done/doing but criticizing them for highlighting and using former WWE guys (the majority of which were mismanaged and terrible booked from the get-go) shouldn't be one of them.

 

it's like criticizing NXT that all their top stars are from other promotions and not their plenty of home-grown wrestlers lol

 

Aaaah yeah, that's why I don't say anything about AEW on here...

 

A cody heel turn would be good, especially since AEW barely has done any turns so far.

Not to sound like cornette here, but a bit more traditional heels vs faces would be appreciated.

 

because you want to criticize AEW for no good reasons just because we pile on WWE's terrible booking and decisions. lol

 

I’ll have a problem with AEW putting ex wwe guys in prominent spots when it’s not (imo) Legit draws/stars like moxley, Jericho, Matt Hardy, and Cody. If they hotshot cardona into a high card feud then I’ll be annoyed but I don’t know how you run a promotion without those guys as the main players, ex-wwe guys or not

 

Also: mox has been champ almost as long as Jericho, now. I think a MJF run would be early, but fitting...and if done right, a massive draw.

 

I think MJF should beat Mox at All Out next month - it's time. Obviously he won't win cleanly but it could set a bunch of new stories in order.
