We've had radio silence for quite a while at this point, compared to earlier this summer. And we never got that second single.

I'd say I'm slowly going mad but the progression to madness isn't really slow anymore.

 

I'm thinking they've been in the studio finalizing a few things since the tour ended.

I am remaining the pessimist here for now because getting my hopes up with this band seems exhausting, but I don't think we'll see anything until at least a couple weeks after Kevin Devine pre-orders go up. I doubt they want one release taking focus away from the other. I personally like Kevin Devine a lot more than I do Brand New, so I'd be a little disappointed if they did this in a way where their album would just overshadow his.

 

We can only hope!

 

No they will want their album to give a push to KD's new record and their label.

You're right. Of course Brand New would mean the literal, technical definition of summer and not "June-August" like what normal people consider summer.
