  1. Lukaku and Sanchez scoring in the final to beat United 2-1 would be cool

    hmmm

United should get more space in behind against Sevilla than they would against Wolves. But they'll also have to be more switched on in midfield and defence. Could be an interesting match-up.

Yeah I’m delighted we’re not playing Wolves. I fucking hate playing them. They’re such a boring side, really.

I haven't seen this, and now I am scared to look. I'm pretty good at racing games generally but I suspect they will make me look awful. Norris and Max do streaming right?

I aspire to have this level of not giving a fuck.

Also, Sevilla are my tip to win the tournament. I think they can beat Inter and United on their day, and they have been in great form since the start of last month.

    Kounde looks really talented.

I was trying to describe myself to someone

Isn't the Bale situation as much Real and Zidane being arseholes as it is him? They've blocked him moving, but also won't play him. It's not like he's refusing to play, right? The Madrid fans don't do themselves any favours either.

From what I understand of the situation (admittedly, not a huge amount), I don't blame Bale at all for hoovering the cash up and playing golf.

Edit: Apparently he did refuse to play against Man City?

    Charles and Alex too.

agreed, I think they're in the best form it seems.

I think I saw it was reported that he said “why should I make the trip, you’re not gonna play me” or some sort.

And yeah. Zidane/Madrid are equally at fault. I’m not blaming Bale in any way. I’d be doing the same thing haha

I haven’t watched this Atalanta team play so I’m excited to get to watch them today in champions league.

how in the hell did Villareal get Dani Parejo FOR FREE?! steal of the summer thus far.

What the hell is going on at Valencia? The captain leaving for free to a direct rival, Coquelin to Villareal too for £7million, Torres going for only £20million.

So Macclesfield were docked 2 points with a further 4 suspended for failing to pay wages, the EFL appealed this ruling and they were docked the full 6 points, leading to them being relegated to the National league. It’s ridiculous that 2 teams from 2 of the EFL’s 3 divisions can be relegated in one season based on points deductions. FFP/P&S is a complete shambles and needs scraping. Let football be decided on the pitch.

Fantastic team to watch, although they are missing potentially their best player, Josip Ilicic.

Billionaire owner who refuses to invest. Missed out on not only Champions League, but Europe entirely, and also the covid stuff. Basically they are broke, and desperately need money. I think they may be fighting to not get relegated next year because they are selling all of their first team apparently.

Apparently Valencia's entire first team squad is up for sale, except for Jose Luis Gaya - Villareal negotiating to buy Gabriel Paulista next for £7million.

If that is true, Barcelona should take a punt and try to get Guedes and Soler. Worst case scenario, they make some money selling them on next summer.

    hmmm

So sad. I was thinking about their 01-04 team recently. A fantastic side.

Marcelino was better off out of there.

I'd be up for Arsenal gambling and trying to get Guedes on the cheap.

Villareal next year are going to be like Gohan and Trunks did that fusion thing, 50% Villareal, 50% Valencia.
