Doing some yard work, and felt like putting on some Torche. Good choice. Harmonicraft still rules, and probably finally gonna listen to their newest album after putting it off too long.

 

What a wild ride this album is!

I love how it makes me uncomfortable like listening to a Full of Hell or Daughters record.

Are there any top 10 metal album lists of 2020 (so far) that I should check out? Been away from the genre for a while. I'll check out some lists from last year too.

 

Apparently it’s James Hetfields birthday. This got me thinking how he’s never been the kind of asshole frontman like a lot of other bands from that era. At least not that I’m aware of. I know he’s struggled with sobriety, but even in the documentary he was pretty composed. Esp after Lars got in his face that one part.

Revisited old Fear Before The March of Flames records today. Dated, but still a lot of fun.

 

They pop up on my daily mixes every day on Spotify. The Always Open Mouth still holds up so well. Band gone too soon

 

Personally still love Art Damage above the rest, but yeah would love to see them active now.

 

Classic for sure. For whatever reason AOM just hits me differently.
