Especially if you’re not going to include other bands who have toured with sexual abusers after things came out about them (like Belmont touring with Tiny Moving Parts)

Honestly-- it's always tempting to hypercriticize abusers, but this is the most honest, least defensive statement I've ever read. It's not my place to forgive him, but I'm glad he owned up to it publicly.

Yeah apparently multiple other women have reached out to her with similar stories, hardly ever seems to be an isolated incident in these cases

The fact that it's "only ever been about the music" rings hollow when you have evidence he consistently used touring as a chance to take advantage of fans.

Yeah, that statement feels very much like a hard attempt to say “I believe women but I also didn’t do this”. If you can recount events from the evening and even recount reasons why you MAY have done what she says you did, just fucking own up to it. Anything else is clearly denial

So UK rapper Wiley has been on a huge antisemitic rant on twitter for hours now and the site has yet to suspend him... not gonna link anything here but if you feel like reporting some tweets then have at it.

 

Yeah someone mentioned that to the poster and they said something like "it's all in the Google doc, decide for yourself", and like ... expecting people to search through your twitter history to find a random Google doc for people to realize they've been misled seems.. disingenuous to me? But I'm a white male, so I can't pretend like my opinion is more important than someone who experiences this kinda thing
