something i love about this album is it still sounds good on my really crappy work computer speakers

 

Same, I've been playing it daily on my OG Google Home and it sounds great. The bass is always great on that speaker, but the highs can often be pretty underwhelming

 

Dead girl in the pool is the catchiest song that shouldn't be catchy

 

Might have spoken too soon on girl in red. I listened to all of Chapter 2 and I thought it was pretty cool.

I don't think she's wealthy or famous really at all. I mean, yeah she has more money than most folks and more recognition than most folks but it's not like she's a Hollywood celebrity where everyone on the street knows who she is and paparazzi are following her around like crazy.

BENEE and mxmtoon seem like out of my age group, but they might be making interesting stuff (to me) in a couple of years. They're definitely talented but I found them a bit grating. Girl in Red is absolutely hilarious, "dead girl in a pool" has me in tears at that chorus. I already liked Beach Bunny, beabadoobee, and Clairo. Stoked to see this new crop of artists though!
