    Of that list, I'd say:

    Spiral
    Free Guy
    Candyman
    Mulan
    A Quiet Place II
    Antlers
    The Woman in the Window

are the ones most likely to go to PVOD. Every other one has no reason to not wait 'til next summer.

Edge of Tomorrow, though that movie is great. I don’t think American Made did super well. The Mummy.

The Mummy still made $400 million worldwide on a $190 budget, American Made $135 on $50.

Production budget, that doesn’t take into account marketing budget. There’s a reason they scrapped that vision of a dark universe.

I have a hard time imagining Top Gun 2 would flop. There’s so much nostalgia for the original.

Yeah I think Top Gun 2 would have done well, to be clear. But Tom Cruise/movie stars in general aren’t the draw they were in previous decades.

  11. I don't think Top Gun 2 would have done better than $350M worldwide pre-pandemic

  12. Oh I didn’t even realize he was in it. I haven’t heard or seen literally anything about it since it was initially announced that they were making a new one, so I assumed it was just a complete reboot, hahaha my bad.

    RIP Tony Scott

  14. Just read a little bit about the sequel. I’m legit shocked Kilmer is in it. I saw him last year and he wasn’t even able to speak, due to his throat cancer operations a couple years ago. Must be a verrrrry small role, if not just a walk-on part. Good for him though getting back onto the screen.

Yeah I honestly would've been shocked if it made less than 500m in the US.

  16. top gun 2 making more than 500m in the us alone? Not a chance

By the end of quarantine we will have a cast reunion for every big film/show of the past 30 years. The celebs are so bored
