The Mummy still made $400 million worldwide on a $190 budget, American Made $135 on $50.

 

Production budget, that doesn’t take into account marketing budget. There’s a reason they scrapped that vision of a dark universe.

Yeah I think Top Gun 2 would have done well, to be clear. But Tom Cruise/movie stars in general aren’t the draw they were in previous decades.

Oh I didn’t even realize he was in it. I haven’t heard or seen literally anything about it since it was initially announced that they were making a new one, so I assumed it was just a complete reboot, hahaha my bad.

Just read a little bit about the sequel. I’m legit shocked Kilmer is in it. I saw him last year and he wasn’t even able to speak, due to his throat cancer operations a couple years ago. Must be a verrrrry small role, if not just a walk-on part. Good for him though getting back onto the screen.

By the end of quarantine we will have a cast reunion for every big film/show of the past 30 years. The celebs are so bored
