I never played 2 and I need to some day

 

I'm on my 4th play through and I agree with everything you said. Not sure anything can match this game. Some things were amazing in Uncharted 4, but the only thing it does better is graphics...and not even by that much.

 

The more I think about it, the more I think the pacing in Uncharted 4 is pretty bad. There are so many times they slow things down almost to a complete halt, and the game loses a great deal of momentum because of that. I love Uncharted 4 and would rate it 9/10, but the pacing holds it back from being a perfect game like TLOU imo. For example, that flashback chapter towards the end of the game in the mansion with Nathan's brother is a chore to get through upon replaying the game.

Also, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I wish there had been more gunplay. They integrated really brilliant shooting mechanics into Uncharted 4, but unfortunately it has the smallest amount of shooting segments of any Uncharted game lol. Other than that, it's another amazing game from Naughty Dog that not many others come close to.

 

Keep going! A lot of lower mmr CS is just learning proper cross-hair placement and getting better with timing/reactions, it shouldn't be too difficult to climb to at least a high gold nova rank as long as you keep working to get better. I watched a video I recorded last year when I first really started playing and was high silver/low gold and just seeing where I would aim was terrible.

What maps do you usually play and what cross-hair do you use?

I mainly play Dust, have played a few games on mirage and have been getting worked there so I'll try incorporating more maps in community competitive.

I just use the default cross-air, it gets the job done.

 

pfft, only amateurs don't spend hours tweaking every last pixel of their crosshair

 

Sean Murray's blatant refusal that the PC version of No Man's Sky is plain broken is awful. The Steam reviews instantly tanked because it crashes on launch, and TotalBiscuit and others have made videos, but Sean Murray is patronising people telling them they probably don't meet the minimum GPU requirements or don't have up to date drivers. Laughable.

Yeah that's literally one source and we don't know yet. I won't believe it until Square Enix themselves say so.

Speaking of which, finally just finished FF type-0 and man that game is very dark and depressing.

 

The last trailer omitted the release date, so I wouldn't be surprised.

 

Yeah, it's about a month from release and it hasn't gone gold yet either. Add that to no date in the trailer, it's pointing to it being true unfortunately.

 

RE everyone's outrage over the No Man's Sky ending, there may still be hope. That video showed the user reaching the center of the galaxy, NOT the center of the universe. Assuming Sean Murray knows the difference between those two things and/or never used the terms interchangeably, all is not lost.

sadly i think it's possible that no amount of time to the "true" ending will be enough, gamers have gotten so ravenous that they blast through shit and then are surprised when it's over fast. happened with Binding of Isaac Rebirth too.

Had nothing to do today so I spent most of it playing games. Started and finished Abzu. That was pretty cool but it didn't hit me the way that Journey did. Still, it's a very pretty game and a good way to kill a few hours. Also started playing Brut@l . I'm actually way more into it than I expected. It's a rogue like with a real neat look. There isn't that much to it from what I played and the combat is lacking but I'm having a blast with it. Then most of my time was spent switching between Tricky Towers and Paragon.

 

I think I'm almost done with ABZÛ I've been playing it in short bursts between TLOU/REmake. I'm at the part where it's been revealed you're a robot, and start to walk .
