I dig it, although I think it suffers from some production issues. I’m always drawn to dissonant Metal.

I just think it sounds a bit muddy and causes it lose some of the punch they are going for. Good record overall though.

Yeah when this pandemic finally ends I'm going to finally get in the pit for real for once. It'll only get harder to do it for the first time as I get older so I need to cross that off my bucket list. I may die, but it'll be an honorable death.

 

I'm hoping America gets it shit together so I can impale myself to Dismember and Backslider in May, but the way things are going, I have little faith that might happen.

At least being back in the office gives me some time to actually delve into new music a bit without interruptions...

Edit: I actually quite like the single after a couple listens. Solid return to form after Head Cage.

 

22 dollars for an ep is a lot of money (The 'limited' version is 24)

 

I spent 14 bucks after shipping for a 7" earlier this week so that price point didn't stop me. Plus Relapse is pretty consistent with pricing on their 12" regardless of whether it's an EP or LP.

 

True. I guess if it was a band I really liked I would 'add to cart' before thinking about the price (not saying I don't like PD....)

 

After Head Cage, I can't blame you for having any skepticism about them period. LoL.
