Defintely a weird feel for this first match. Took 5 minutes to get a stretcher out for injury which is horseshit. Paramedics seemed like they were taking their sweet ass time.

Other than that the only complaint would be the camera work on the near side, but seems like they figured that out at half.

I was reading a thread on Redcafe about football jargon and someone brought up #6 and #8. It's funny when I was growing up a #6 was always a centre back and #4 was a midfielder. That seems completely replaced now.

And yet it isn't, because it's still not consistent.

Get older referees who don't the fitness anymore and make them VAR officials. A crack team of them, who can all agree on some set standards, and all have experience refereeing. Make it consistent and stop them worrying abouyt undermining the referee. If you have VAR, you have to go all in.

Apparently Villa fans are pissed at Sky. Sky ran a story a couple of days ago about us being interested in Sancho and Grealish and photoshopped them both into United kits. Photoshopping Villa’s captain into a United kit two days before a match against them really isn’t the best idea in the world from Sky.
