Yeah I can never sleep, I’ve been very open about this! Usually I do try to stop posting around this time but sometimes I can tell it will be a bad night and just stay up until I totally pass out.

 

Lmao I’m cursed in the future while you lot are just awake. Least I have an excuse! But seriously I read the last few pages of the music opinions thread. Think it gave me a migraine? Just a lot of people getting all snarky with each other over bands I don’t care about and I don’t know why I read it

 

I’m usually up until like 12-1am most nights.

Lol yeah I meant that for @Borat 2: Vengeance being surprised that I’m awake at a late hour. I’m almost always in bed by 11/11:30 at the latest just trying to wind down, and my goal is to already be asleep by now but lately it’s been harder than usual and I’ve often been up until more like 2:30 or 3. When I was a teenager my sleep schedule was soooooooo bad.

 

Ohh yeah. I definitely have had an out of whack sleep schedule my whole life.
It ebbs and flows honestly lol a smarter person would probably like journal that shit and watch how it correlates to their mental health but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

I tend to stay up later now because it’s too warm at night.

 

I’ve been trying really hard to keep from falling into one of those terrible schedules again during this since I never have anywhere to be in the morning now and it would be super easy to just sleep in incredibly late every day. But I don’t want that to happen so I’ve been attempting to keep a schedule that’s closer to my normal one when working.

a routine I always fall into is my body waking me up naturally between 7 and 9 and then often taking a nap in the middle of the day and then staying up until 1-3ish
Which is super unhelpful lolol

 

I usually only nap when I’m truly exhausted or stressed or sick, so staying up all day isn’t really a problem. I almost got to that point a few weeks ago when things were pretty bad. I almost never fall asleep on the couch but there was one day at like 4 PM where I couldn’t stay awake any longer. Can’t remember if I fully took a nap or just rested a bit but it did not feel great.

What I hate is when I have a terrible night and fall asleep hours later than usual but then the next morning my body naturally wakes me up earlier than I have been normally. I never get why that happens so often when all it does is put me a few hours in the hole for being rested.

 

Bodies are dumb

 

I can never nap. Idk what it is I can rest my eyes and relax but can’t fall asleep unless it’s that time of night

 

I’ve only just been able to start napping again over the last week. Couldn’t pull it off the previous two months.

 

Except tonight. Just woke up from my 2 hr pre-bed nap. Pretty sure I fell asleep 3 times typing this.

I legit feel bad for napping because my gf doesn’t like it...says she gets bored alone? So now I fight tooth and nail to stay awake unless she helps
