On a slightly more serious but still not at all argumentative note, it's entirely possible to appreciate dumb things while still acknowlrdging how dumb they are. Likewise for problematic stuff--to an extent. I'm thinking back on the Hamilton discussion and how we can still love it despite its faults. But I say "to an extent" because I don't see myself reading or watching HP anytime soon thanks to JKR's TERF-iness, despite still considering myself a fan of the franchise.

Finished space force and while I get why everyone hates the second episode, the finale was the worst out of the entire season. The show is just boring and there's no excuse with the talent involved.

 

How did it end?

 

The Chinese on the moon run over the american flag from the Apollo mission so the secretary of defense tells Steve carrell to retaliate. He refuses and tells the american team on the moon to dismantle their guns. Carrell is relieved of command and the fill in commander tells the Americans to take wrenches and attack the Chinese. As they are driving their moon buggies to the Chinese base they pass the Chinese going the other way. So they report back to earth they disable the Chinese base and when they get back to their base, they see the Chinese destroyed theirs. Oh and Steve carrell saved his daughter from methheads and his wife broke out of prison and they flew away in a helicopter. End season.

 

Yeah people get really up their own ass about not liking them imo

They are mostly decent in a homogenous way. 2 or 3 stand out, the rest are fine

 

I mean the fandom is usually pretty rabid so it makes sense that the anti-fandom would also feel passionately ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I mean generally I’d rather just ignore Marvel because I don’t care at all, but my beautiful streaming thread was descending into ranking chaos! Plus no one ever wants to discuss robot James Spader with me and that’s endlessly disappointing.
