I still wouldn't say 3D Touch is necessary, but it's definitely been made a priority with iOS 10. I use it way more than I did before.

  3. I just got a 9.7 inch iPad Pro, keyboard and pencil to use for school. I guess we will see how this goes! I really like it so far. I only really write papers and take notes, as I'm an English major so I think this will go well

  4. Guys and gals. I can finally talk about where I'll be working. Been planning and building for a long time, but its finally here.

World Trade Center - Apple Store - Apple

It's going to be beautiful... and it'll hopefully mean even more to a community that's finally almost rebuilt.

I'm the only one of my friends that can't seem to do the bubble text thing in messages in iOS 10. When I long press the arrow nothing happens.

iOS Beta is still constantly disconnecting from my Ford Sync 3 bluetooth and refusing to reconnect until I shut off both my Focus and the reset the phone. Didn't have a problem in iOS9 and this is the first time i've ever been frustrated with an iPhone. ugh.

This works for desktop, but I'm still having the same problem in the iOS app. If I'm in the middle of an album, even if I started it by hitting the album icon, adding anything to up next will place it after the current song. Do you have this issue?

You can't really be frustrated with bugs in a beta release though.

Yeah I know, it's just my only complaint so far with the Beta. It'll even disconnect from the stereo when I have it plugged into one of my USB ports.

they are supposedly working on a way to use 3D touch features on phones that don't support it. I have no idea how they plan to do it though. maybe double tap and hold? some kind of weird swipe?

Does anyone think a new Apple TV will be coming out this fall or just the OS update.

When is iOS 10 coming out by the way? After upgrading to 9.3.4 i've found my battery life has become beyond a joke... 15 minute train journey just reading a few news articles and I lose 20% battery!

mid september. do you have a 6 or 6s?

A 5 actually, but I had no unusual battery problems before. It also doesn't detect my charger very well, but that may be the actual cable.

battery is probably toast from being really old.

I remember apple replaced my 5 battery for free over a year ago.

^ The old iPhone 5 had a battery defect that they replace for free. My girlfriend had it done.

I don't know that the 5 is going to be able to properly handle iOS 10 anyway. If it's be OG 5 it's 3 years old now? Older? Isn't that usually when iPhones start having problems with updates?

    iPhone 5 was 2012, so 4 years.

    iPhone 5 - 2012
    iPhone 5s - 2013
    iPhone 6 - 2014
    iPhone 6s - 2015
    iPhone 7 - 2016

If I could just forget it

Why is that iOS updates take your phone out if it's 3+ years old, but OS X releases continue to work (and in some cases improve!) on macs that are quite a bit older? Genuinely curious.

  25. Because of where the hardware is for both platforms.
