Don't worry, it was just a general "fuck that", not directed at you in any way!

champagne supernova is closer to the GOAT song than people give it credit

and it isn't even my favorite by them

    This is a Song Title.

Anything else and you're an asshole.

Sometimes I think back on when the third 1975 album came out and everyone was comparing the closer to "Champagne Supernova" in reviews. Like 70 percent of the people in the album thread here had never heard "Champagne Supernova," and then someone else was like, "But this 1975 song is way better than 'Champagne Supernova'!" I had to take a walk, I was so offended.

i ... do not hear it at all lol. i don't even hate the song. i like it more than 95% of other songs by that band I've heard. a chord progression with a moving root note =/= champagne supernova lol

i mean, i can see it i guess from people who don't listen to britpop at all and think all those bands sound the same. but it sounds closer to travis/keane kind of post-britpop than anything oasis has ever done, let alone champagne supernova lol

Wonderwall is a banger too and people should put respect on its name. It’s a cliche now for a reason: it’s a perfect song!

Standing on the Shoulders of Giants is suuuuuch an underrated album. it's been my favorite of theirs at times. i'd say it's probably third right now for me, but it changes weekly

Only Oasis record that I don't find memorable is Heathen Chemistry, but it's also been about a decade since I've listened to it, so
