I need to make it a point to catch up on the trends from the past 2 years. Currently trying to listen to Pop Smoke and brooklyn Drill squad, didn’t even know there was a burgeoning crew in Buffalo...what else are essentials?

 

It's a random album cut, but mine is "You and Me" with Kelly Price.

 

They put Dior on the third straight album and I’m still not complaining because it’s a hit

 

Yeah Pop Smoke album was surprisingly really good, didn't feel like a posthumous album at all. He had a ton of potential and was starting to realize his range, really sucks what happened to him

 

It was recorded already though wasn't it?

 

The album version. Not sure why they shoehorned in a lacklustre P verse in the video version because he’s not on the album and it adds nothing to the song.

 

I completely forgot that this version existed. I kinda like it though. The story behind that song and the subsequent beef is so wild. It also spawned some other great LL songs and ultimately a great album.

All very white outside of half of RTJ and NNAMDI. Rina Sawayama too, but still a very predictable list and boring list.

 

All Time Low at number 7 says it all really lol
