  4. All the cold hard facts of what people have been saying for years are finally going to make a lot of assholes have to face up to reality.

The weird ogling I've seen on reddit (specifically a new subreddit targeted directly at femal athletes) over Woman's volleyball players is gross.

I don't know about the Germany requiring bikini's part, but I know other members of that same team didn't have hijabs, so that being a choice is true.

CNN: FBI Wanted to Open a Public Corruption Case Into the Clinton Foundation.

Officials from the FBI and Department of Justice met several months ago to discuss opening a public corruption case into the Clinton Foundation, according to a US official.

At the time, three field offices were in agreement an investigation should be launched after the FBI received notification from a bank of suspicious activity from a foreigner who had donated to the Clinton Foundation, according to the official.
FBI officials wanted to investigate whether there was a criminal conflict of interest with the State Department and the Clinton Foundation during Clinton's tenure. The Department of Justice had looked into allegations surrounding the foundation a year earlier after the release of the controversial book "Clinton Cash," but found them to be unsubstantiated and there was insufficient evidence to open a case.

As a result, DOJ officials pushed back against opening a case during the meeting earlier this year. Some also expressed concern the request seemed more political than substantive, especially given the timing of it coinciding with the investigation into the private email server and Clinton's presidential campaign.

The FBI's investigation into Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe and his tie to a Clinton Foundation donor was also raised during the meeting. DOJ said that probe could continue but declined to open a case on the foundation.

Funny. I read the piece and would've also highlighted theses. Plus the bit in a later paragraph that stated how the newly released email have shown nothing to suggest that there was a criminal conflict of interest.

Cool? You're free to highlight whatever you want. And the DOJ 'looking into' past allegations and not opening case is not reason to disregard new evidence that three field offices agreed called for an investigation.

That's a interesting reading of it.
There doesn't appear to be anything so far suggesting that in the newly released heavily redacted emails from Judicial Watch, but those emails do raise questions about whether the relationship between the State Department and Clinton Foundation was too cozy, particularly after Clinton pledged she would not be involved with the foundation when she became secretary of state in an effort to prevent an inappropriate relationship.

Of course, criminal liability you'd need much more. But at this point if you don't think the Clintons are corrupt with the world's wealthy elite I've got some bridges to sell you.

  21. I know. That does not mean what you are saying it means.

You're right, "three field offices were in agreement an investigation should be launched" does not mean "three field offices agreed called for an investigation" somehow.

It doesn't. Calling for an investigation and field offices discussing and agreeing they should call for an investigation are two different things. And no investigation was called. If you and a friend say "hey I think we should go to Taco Bell" does that mean you went to Taco Bell? Nope. No investigation was called.

Just making an observation. How different people can read the same thing about come away with different impressions.

That paragraph is literally saying that noting has been identified in the emails to suggest that there is a criminal conflict of interest, the thing for which they would be opening a case. "So far" leaves the door open of course, but you could go on saying so far forever.
