sounds like those Underoath re-presses are genuine re-presses (i.e. not live recordings) and they jumped the gun in posting them for sale

Everything in Transit by Jack’s Mannequin was my first record, before I even had a player. The 59 Sound was my second I believe.

I just did something I never thought I’d do and messaged everyone on discogs who own The Last Five Years soundtrack if they’re taking offers. I’ve been looking for it forever and I’ve never even seen it for sale, much less affordably.

So do you have exclusive access on the 6th?

 

They’re kinda making it seem like that with that access code, but I’d imagine it’s universal. Hopefully all of us in this thread can get in on it!

 

I'm sure they are pressing a ton of these - it's like printing money.

 

I have the LITSOS box set and have never listened to it bc it’s so cumbersome. Can’t wait to have it in a normal package haha

 

I have the purple variant, but have always kind of wanted the box set also. The saw blade vinyl looks cool.

The saw blade really does look cool. I remember getting it off eBay several years ago for I think $60

 

Cool story - I got the purple variant for $10 off eBay too about 5 years ago. Wasn’t even an auction item, I just don’t think dude knew what he had. Hell I didn’t even know they made a purple variant at the time and had to refer to Discogs to see if it was legit haha.

So I had been searching for The Positives by Person L for damn near a decade and I finally got it, and for $8 at that. It’s pink and white. My patience paid off.

 

Speaking of patience: I finally found one of my grails this past weekend.

I've been looking for Against Me!’s “New Wave” for YEARS. Almost finally caved a few months ago and bought a copy for $80. Decided NO and carried on.

I spent the weekend visiting my sister in a quiet ass California desert town, and she mentioned to me a local record shop was open again. We went to go check it out and while flipping through the bins, there she was: an OG first pressing of “New Wave” on yellow wax for TEN DOLLARS. I cannot stress how fast I ran to that counter and slapped my card down.
