The point is it’s justified to be mad at an arbitrary price increase that is going to hurt consumers and is being done solely to increase corporate profits and for no other reason at all.

 

The real problem is the egregious view of indie game pricing. They deserve to be more expensive, but unless it has a AAA studio attached to it, it can't break through the $15-20 dollar range without being accused of being greedy.

Ok before we get off track here, the original conversation was about how AAA publishers like 2K have no reason to increase the base purchase price of a game that is full of microtransactions.
