Highly recommend watching “Disclosure,” a documentary released on Netflix about trans people in media with interviews with nothing but trans people. It confronts so many truly embarrassing depictions of trans people on shows like “Nip Tuck,” “Ace Ventura,” etc. Really good stuff.

 

I’m super excited about this!! Documentaries about film history in general are always some of my favorites, and when they’re specifically about representation or censorship and the effect that has on the world I care even more.

 

Then you’re going to love this.

 

Started Marcella on Friday and am halfway through ep5.

 

Let me know what you think once you watch more. It’s one of the few shows I ever legitimately ragequit.

Early season 2, can’t remember exactly when though. There was one event where I remember saying, “If they do this I’m done,” and then they did. Lol.

 

hahaha, ok good to know. I've been enjoying season one so far though its large cast kind of annoys me.

 

Marcella is bad. Like the second season is one of the worst things I've ever watched.

 

haha damn. maybe i just finish the first season and then move onto other shows. like maybe go and finally finish The Fall.

 

Where is The Fall streaming now? I watched S1 and didn't get to S2-3 before it left Netflix

 

Amazon Prime has it.

 

The Fall didn’t end well in my opinion, but Gillian is so so so good in it the whole way through.

 

Netflix keeps recommending to me a doc on Donald Trump called "The American Dream." Does anyone know if it's anti or pro Trump? I really don't wanna find out half way through that I'm watching some alt right propaganda documentary lol

 

I just finished How To Fix a Drug Scandal and ..wow..

 

Upload is great fun! Worth a watch if anyone is looking for a solid half hour comedy

 

I need to go back and finish that. I watched 5 or so eps the first weekend and really enjoyed them.

Extraction is gratuitously violent but somehow still boring?

Watched 5 episodes of Pretty Little Liars today. Definitely still remember alot of stuff from when I first watched it 9 years ago. The Aria/Mr. Fitz relationship is definitely worse that I originally remember
