Have you seen the one with Hayley Williams? I understand that wouldn't happen, with who has already been announced for bands/artists, etc.

I don't think Pixies will headline. I think RTJ could either co-headline or be a sub-headliner.

Yeah, I was only counting Chicago. I know they played Denver. Haha.

I know MxPx has some weird thing about festival dates. Mike Herrera has mentioned on his podcast that they get offers from certain festivals and their set time coupled with the money on the table is usually just not worth the hassle of planning it, flying out, etc. And with Riot Fest, I suspect they'd be on very early in the day.

But I could see that changing if Goldfinger were playing (never underestimate the power of the double-dip).

Y'know, I completely blanked on Motion City Soundtrack, the Menzingers, Jeff Rosenstock, Retirement Party, and Joyce Manor! Sign me up for those as well!

Ah! I was thinking just the "outdoor" festivals. I guess it's not that weird that neither band has played the festival yet. They've been relatively inactive (or just doing very short runs) for the last decade or so. But with a new Suicide Machines album and a Strike Anywhere EP, both bands were kinda primed to be playing far more shows than they normally would...

But hey. Since the whole music industry is basically on pause this year? Maybe all of those tours will just get pushed out to 2021 and we'll still get 'em!

I’m hoping they bring Sum 41 back to celebrate the 20th anniversary of All Killer No Filler. And just saying that makes me feel old.

Not sure how y'all feel, but 2021 will be the year I take it easy. Every year I feel like I try to squeeze in 20 sets/day and I run myself ragged trying to do so, where next year, I think I'm just going to watch 6-7 sets a day and camp out for good spots. I look back on last year and I had the most fun at the sets I waited for (Jawbreaker, Descendants, The Story So Far, American Football, Against Me!, Turnstile).

So far, they've only said that one will be exclusive to Thursday. But I'm feeling like there will be an exclusive album play or two from certain bands who can pull a set like that out of their butts with relative ease (e.g., Taking Back Sunday, New Found Glory).

I've been brainstorming what the "exclusive surprise set" might be and I'm struggling to come up with anything that feels totally reasonable so I just keep saying "Well, gotta keep an eye on the rescheduled Chicago Hella Mega date, I guess!"

Oh, buddy. I completely fucking blanked on that being the year! Great, now I'm daydreaming about that instead of a surprise Fall Out Boy album play on Thursday...

Would love for there to be a stage with Alkaline Trio, Pup, the Lawrence Arms, the Bouncing Souls, Strike Anywhere, etc.

The beautiful thing about this line-up is that the vast majority of it for me is bands that I love but have seen so many times at this point that I won't stress about missing them. I can go back and forth between without worrying too much or stressing about finding a great spot.

And none of these bands are crying out for me needing to be front row anyway.

Let's hold our breath until we disappear

I had this exact thought the other day. I think next year will be a lot more laid back for me, and I'm excited for it.

Also not sure if it was pointed out but MCR posted their updated tour schedule for next year and said they're headlining Saturday!

Also want something I haven’t considered, which sounds weirdly demanding, but if you would have told me last year, pre-lineup release that one of my new obsessions of 2019 would be the B-52s I would have given you a thumbs down and fart noise, but here we are! Hahaha

I know this is beyond my wildest dreams, but I’d like Weezer to do what they did for the 2015 Toronto RF and play two nights/two sets. One with a Blue Album play and one with a Pinkerton play

Instead of my long-ass list, I probably should have just written "any assortment of 90s punk and ska."

I'm actually wondering who winds up being on the Pumpkins stage that same day. I'm feeling like the Pixies will be on the same stage or potentially directly before them on a separate stage. But I'm not really seeing many other artists that would pair well with them that I wouldn't slot elsewhere (e.g., Coheed would work but I would assume they're coupled with MCR).

Shame on me for forgetting about "Werid Al" Yankovic, Deftones, Death by Stereo, and Every Time I Die! Unfortunately, I think Garbage is out as they are playing Tinley Park on 9/11 with Alanis.

That would be a blast! I've seen Blue, but not Pinkerton. I feel like Hella Mega might get in the way of that happening, though, unless it's a surprise set on the Thursday.

Yeah I figured the HMT would stop it somehow. Blue Album is my favorite album of all time. I just wanna see it played in full ONCE
