AEW are testing everyone, right? Or was that disputed?

That's what they had said but idk if it's actually true

It seems like they are, the bucks mentioned it in being the elite but idk any of the details. They could just be testing the wrestlers and not all the other employees.

Sammy has shown the temperature checks a few times on his show as well.

I think AEW is just doing antibody testing.

Which I'm really surprised that that's all Stardom did, is NJPW only doing antibodies too?

  6. Yeah the type of testing AEW is doing isn’t great but it’s still better than doing nothing like WWE

and Ric Flair needs to stay away from the PC

idk i obv don't wish ill on Vince or Ric but id have a hard time having sympathy for anyone who is a covid nonbeliever getting sick. the facts are there, the numbers are there, if you think you're above it just because then you're fucking dumb

I, for one, am stunned that a corporation with such high morals like shaming someone on national television for a feud about their addiction and then having them lose the match to the bully, would not have rigorous testing implemented.

Ya'all just finally stop watching wwe and giving it any exposure. This company is beyond morally bankrupt and should not at all get any of the attention it still gets.

  11. Is ric a covid non believer?

i mean idk but if he's strolling around maskless and with a bunch of people backstage or something i wouldn't be willing to feel too awful is what im saying i guess. like, he shouldn't be there

  13. Right I agree there

    just so fucking dumb

There’s a full thread there, but tl;dr WWE has been doing temperature checks and performers signed a waiver. Fans in attendance claim they opted not to wear masks, but were never told they couldn’t. WWEs statement is ridiculous because they said they kept the crowd away from the performers even though that’s not true. There was sanitizing stations throughout the PC.

don’t want to come off as defending WWE here because this is still mostly really bad, but also, don’t believe a word Alvarez says and Meltzer makes money off people being angry at WWE

Its beyond reckless to introduce fans into the environment in any way. At least with the PC performers, they are paid WWE employees...bringing in someone you have no control over, whose job isnt the dedicated product you are creating, its just stupid on so many levels.

It looks like some of the fans are family members of the PC talent. Santana Garrett’s husband was there with her. I know supposedly AEW is testing their people but are they testing the fans they are letting in?

I wish places would just shut down again. Shit is getting bad here in Texas. In our city the mayor petitioned the governor to make masks mandatory in the city and the governor said hell no.

Are AEW letting fans in too?

  18. It’s so fucked - we’ve plateaued the first wave (hence there will be no second wave because we will never leave the first wave) and that estimation is 2000-3000 deaths a month

it’s unreal how our fucking shitty leadership has just given up - so many people are going to unnecessary die and even if you don’t die from covid the remainder of your life will be fucked up too

It is pretty scary here in Germany, too. But for now it is getting better everyday..seeing what's happening in the States, where I have many dear friends, fucks me up tbh..

  20. Not to undermine how scary it is for you as well but I would love it if the US was more like Germany

See, but thats also reckless. Here in MD (just outside DC), signs to grocery stores, shops like Home Depot, etc are telling you to limit your visit to a single family member. If I'm a PC member being forced to work, I'd be furious to see someone bringing in outsiders. Truthfully, AEW nailed it by having like 15-20 people ringside. Rotate which collection of PC members that is (so they dont burn out like the rumors from the Cole/Dream taping), and it allows there to still be noise while they have PLENTY of room to spread out.

So many countries are gonna be banning US citizens from traveling to them until their is a vaccine. The undeniability reality in the US is we've lost to the virus, we wasted the shut down, and a LOT of people are gonna die throughout the rest of this year because there is no way we go back into quarantine as we should in July/August.

I’m pretty sure the cdc or something estimated we’ll have over 200,000 deaths by October 1st.

  24. yup and that's just the beginning of the shit sandwich. the fall will also end the suspension of student loan payments and rental evictions and the extra $600 in UE benefits. the fall is gonna be a fucking massacre in the US
