Did we realistically map out when we should get a single? Shouldn't it be somewhat soon? I mean I know that plans probably changed in light of the pandemic and no possibility of immediate tours but this seems like a good sign. I almost wish I hadn't listened to the clip because now I fear that not getting something soon is gonna be painful

 

Keith said recently they won't put an album out until they can tour on it so I doubt it will be as soon as we'd all like

 

I will trust the process.

If that’s the case it’ll be another year or two. I understand them wanting to wait but selfishly I could really use this album right about now.

 

If i'm being really honest (it's still me being selfish) their tour would do just as good if it were a year or two after the album release compared to the tour being fresh off the release.

 

I completely get it though. Who wants to release something that you're super proud of and instead of using that momentum to drive the energy of your live shows, you have to sit on the material for a full year before playing it to crowds? I just want a single right now.

I dont blame them for wanting to take a little more of a “wait and see” approach, but i dont even think we have live concerts in most of 2021 either, theyre gonna eventually just release it.

 

concerts definitely not happening til 2022. my release calendar tracker is getting really bleak.

 

Maybe this will be the push that we needed to make virtual concerts a feasible thing

 

Yeah I hope they'll eventually decide it's best not to sit on it because I don't see US having shows again for a long time
