I just made cinnamon pancakes the other day because they are the best.

 

Their cold brew is so much better than their shitty iced coffee. I'm astonished at the difference in quality.

Also, you guys know that Hardee's and Carl's Jr. are the same thing right?

Also, I just remembered Rally's and that should be atop the fast food food chain.

Had a coupon for Wendy's... 2 for $5 (choose from a Dave's Single, a half salad or a Spicy Chicken Sandwich) - Was excited because I was gonna get a Single and a Spicy Chicken and compare but the idiots at Wendy's severely messed up.

Walked inside to avoid complications with the coupon. Stood at the register for at least 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. Then another 3-4 minutes before I got to order.

I manager took my order. Was super confused about how to make the computer cooperate with the coupon so he rang up other random items instead of what I actually ordered, in order to get the pricing correct. When I questioned him, he just said he had to manipulate the system so that he could make the coupon work. That was fine until my order came out and it was everything he rang up and nothing I actually ordered.

Had them remake the order and it was still wrong. Mayo instead of mustard. With pickles instead of no pickles.

Spicy chicken was decent since it was hot. The Single was underwhelming to say the least. Tomatoes was the end piece (which seems like it is 95% of the time), lettuce was wilted...

Dammit Wendy's. I want to love you. Just let me.

 

I've never had Rally's even though one is right by my dads work. I think that's the only burger chain I haven't had yet in the west coast.

The Wendys near my condo is usually perfect. I'm sorry a fellow member of spoon nation had a bad experience

 

I haven't had issues with their veggies, they always seem fresh

But yes the Doughboys thread now hates me for finding the spicy chicken sandwich underwhelming

I always do taquitos are Whataburger. Biscuit sandwiches are usually too dry for me. Biscuits and gravy though... that's another story.

 

Because not many people have waterburger :'(

Usually the lettuce is fresh/crisp, but I typically ask for extra tomatoes though because I'm just the lucky guy that always gets the end piece.

Last night was definitely an off night for Wendy's though. I've had lots of great meals there in the past, but last night was just a cluster fuck.

 

I just have to say: the spicy chicken sandwich is the best regular menu item at Wendy's that's not a Frosty and it should be treated with the respect it deserves. Never had a bad one
