I told my friend group at work that I’m applying for the supervisor role and they all kind of just made fun of me and had no chance.

it sucked.

I talked to some of my supervisors and they all thought I kill it so I rather listen to them than my friends that want to stay complacent.

Yep! I haven’t always, but it’s been something to do for my mental health and a routine during quarantine. Any time I think of a dish that sounds good I add it to the list, and then I have a separate one for dishes that I currently have the ingredients for. There are still so so many that I want to make, but many of them won’t happen until I can actually get out to stores myself.

 

Do you do this on paper or online?

 

My list is mostly sandwiches, unfortunately haha. I need more actual meals.

 

I've got the opposite problem I'm close tobto leveling up to foreman rank but don't really want the stress and bullshit that comes w it lol and when I try to convince them I'm a piece of shit and idk what I'm doing they just want me to be a boss even more lmao

I'll post the list when I get home from work. I'm knocking off pollo enchiladas en mole rojo on Saturday, which I've been wanting to make for at least a year now.

 

We talked to my brother's mom today about him going to a regular HS next year, which is what he wants, vs. doing the online school he's been doing, which we feel just isn't very conducive to his learning needs. She agreed with us and we're going to see about getting him transferred, but we're also conflicted because of Covid and not sure that it's a good idea to be "in" school anyways. From what we're hearing, their plan is to try and alternate weeks of having some kids doing online and some being at school, which idk about that. At the very least if he's in a regular school their online classes are far more productive and inclusive than what he was doing before, he was just left on his own do his work and obviously never did.

Idk what my point is lol i'm just rambling I guess

 

Honestly if they try to make school pretty much an online thing its gonna hurt a lot of kids mental healthwise. If u think that's a safe happy medium theyved they've got set up id say go for it
