I feel like there weren't many posts in here about protests or police brutality overnight, just some statues pulled down. Are these protests dying down??

 

I think it’s safe to say they are at least a bit

Last night was apparently the first night there were no protests in Tampa
but there’s still plenty planned so idk. It’s losing steam a bit but not going anywhere yet

 

There was a big protest last night in the same town I was protesting in on Sunday because a bunch of gross Trump assholes showed up and there were many instances of racial slurs and violence from them caught on camera. Many leaders around here are organizing protests in response to incidents like this. There's going to be another one tomorrow too in the same town. I have started to follow a lot of local activists that have been organizing the protests I've been to and at least around here on Long Island, people are still mobilized and showing up, let's hope that momentum stays but it might ease up a bit overall.
