lol usually something like this would make me cringe a little bit but this one is kinda good and, at minimum, funny. The Anonymous part and the Kpop parts were funny

 

I get what you’re saying but I don’t think it’s that easy because the conservatives entire messaging is “the liberal idea is cutting money for cops” and so long as police and military are held as sacred, people don’t seem to like the idea of them not having funded cops around. They’re scared or indoctrinated or whatever, but breaking through that to be able to talk about cutting funds or using funds, that we pay for, to properly motivate the public sector, I think is really important. But what I’m really trying to get at is that I don’t think as many people understand the basic basic basic part of policing and police abuse and that’s why things like this can be used as discussion vectors.

I wish more people were like that. I don’t think Joe Biden would be our nominee right now if they were. Heh. Maybe I’m jaded by all the cop hugging photos I see on Facebook, but part of me feels the need to be able to use tools that have direct action and they’ve seen to then talk more about systemic abuse, how it’s not just a few bad apples, and move forward. And when people ask about some viral thing or whatever I think being able to start from there and explain why that’s how to start and not the end goal. But what I also see happen is the left has a backlash against something Obama related or this campaign and then these liberals I was in dialogue with get scared, don’t wanna lose all police, think looting is bad, etc. They’re babies. I fully know that, but there’s a lot of babies! And I just am trying to say I think some of these things work well on a certain demo. And that’s why I sometimes will share them with people or use them as discussion starters.
