I was trying to describe myself to someone

They're guilty in the eyes of the organisation which administers the sport. Not sure how public opinion even comes into it.

  2. Considering the financial hit Spurs are openly sharing with everyone, the remaining portion of the season is so important. In the 9 games remaining we probably have to win 7 of those to qualify for CL. Considering everyone is healthy I think it's possible. But it's going to be a really weird month or so.

    Werner to... Chelsea apparently.

  5. Werner, Pulisic, Ziyech, Abraham would be deadly

  8. Curious how Chelsea would handle Abraham if they do indeed buy Werner. Are they going to run two at the top?

where would i be if i was my brain Prestigious

So you're just going to pick apart the actual words and not the meaning?

Am I ever saying they didn't break the rules? No. I just don't think the punishment will hold up

  10. Fining a club that has endless amounts of money isn't a punishment. It won't change anything about how they operate. Hell, banning them from CL for a season will only be a temporary detriment compared to how that would effect most other clubs.

  12. I want nothing to do with Pulisic - Werner - Ziyech attack lol

But I guess it's not as bad as dealing with Mane - Firmino - Salah

Werner 100% to Liverpool IMO, the guy is practically begging to join them and this rumour will just have been started to force LFC's hand.

Edit: rumour perhaps wrong choice of word, but the only reason he doesn't go to LFC is if they decide not to go for him

    Or they can’t afford him

Perhaps, but they'd have to be in an absolute shambles financially for that to be the case!

OK I take it back, really does seem like it's happening :eyes:

No Sancho though, as they are going for Ben Chilwell instead as their final signing of the summer:tear:

Rakitic back to Sevilla, Sergi Roberto to City, Arthur and Dembele to Juventus for Pjanic, Coutinho to Chelsea, and Firpo and Semedo to Inter for Martinez are all on the rumor mill for Barcelona today. Vidal, Umtiti also being shopped.

Letting go of Arthur and Roberto would be a mistake. Not sure why three of the four wingbacks are potentially being sold.

Also, apparently, we want to bring in Dest from Ajax to be a long-term replacement for Jordi Alba. Would love to have a USMNT player at Barca.

All the noise this summer is that’s the case. I think 50m + 200k a week is just out of their wheelhouse at the moment.

I'm shocked at that tbh. Though admittedly my knowledge of how finances work in football is almost zero (every big club is basically in debt???), I really though the prize money from winning the CL would have left them with a lot of money to spend this summer.

My god that would be some of the worst business they could possibly do lol

  20. Why would Barca want to get rid of Arthur?

I enjoy Werner and I'm sad he's going to Chelsea of all teams

They’re a terribly run club with a lot of financial issues.

thought it was because his name is so bland. Messi, Suarez, Vidal, Dembele these names have some panache and then there Arthur...womp womp.

He's not exactly the greatest "team" player, despite being ultra talented. He's had some attitude issues when he wasn't being reinserted directly back into the line-up after coming back from injury (Vidal was super in-form at the time). But also what Nick said \/
