Something I am finding hilarious/annoying during all this is all of the idiots commenting on any band that shows solidarity or empathy towards BLM with “done supporting this band” or that they’re disappointed they’re talking about politics.

1. I am sure 100% those bands don’t want you as a fan, so you’re doing them a favor.
2. nobody cares you are upset and your entitlement was hurt
3. Do you even listen to lyrics by these bands or follow their platforms? I’ve seen people get mad at bands like Sum41, Senses Fail, and more. Bands that are known to either have very outspoken lyrics politically or outspoken band members on their platforms.

On a similar note, I really enjoyed one of the football teams from Birmingham (possibly the UK's most diverse city alongside of course London), responding with this to a white fan who made a similar comment. Considering they had one of the first and most high profile black players in the UK, who did this guy think he was supporting? He was CERTAINLY old enough to know their history.
