Assuming Kairi’s head wound came from that stair spot. Can we get Nia Jax the fuck out of this industry already jesus christ

Sounds like there are quite a few people who were there that want her fired.

Isn’t this the second time in a few weeks that Nia almost ended kairis career? How do they make them wrestle again after the last time? Just so fucked up

Then she'll just murder people with even less experience.
Its pretty clear from the spot that Kairi is tripping as it starts, which kind of confirms what everyone has always thought about Nia. She's too big/powerful for most of the women, and so when she does a power spot, it makes it happen too fast/too uncontrolled for the person taking it.

Its weird, because if she let the other wrestlers sell her spots versus forcing them, it'd probably work a lot better.

How can you buy this rhetoric? PLENTY of big women do spots like this without hurting other women. Look at Nyla vs Riho. Its an even bigger women vs an even smaller opponent. No injuries. Or even anything involving Aja or Awesome Kong.

Though in that situation, they did have Riho try a power spot she was not equipped for.

Yeah I just think Nia is careless. There’s enough evidence. Hell there’s times she’s fucked up moves on Kairi when it looks like she’s not strong enough.

Also, how many times has someone like Candice wrestled a much larger/stronger male opponent and not had incidents like this happen?

You're right, big/powerful is the wrong phrase...and more like she lacks the agility and coordination to pull off "powerful" the way WWE wants it done. Braun does this a lot too, where he tries to make something look forceful, which makes it dangerous and sloppy...whereas someone like Cesaro and Corbin can pull off big power-looking moves because they work as the base for their opponents.

I do think that's a little different, because a lot of the spots Ive seen Candice do, its actually the men using strength to make a spot look bigger/more impactful than a larger male opponent would.

Nia's is usually forcing the timing...so, like when she hurt Bayley, both the moves that did it, she's grabbing and pulling and muscling rather than doing anything fluid.

Oh man, had forgotten about this one. Yeah, she just has terrible ring work all around. But I think the face she has "power" causes her to lean on it in ways that hurts people.

She dropped Charotte on her head earlier in that match.

That Charlotte match is the one I think about most often when thinking of Nia’s trash ring work.

    Jericho?

Cody has had some suspect tweets too if I remember correctly.

Linda tweeted about protestors being bad. Tony Khan banned her or something because she’s obviously been trying to get AEW tix for quite some time. Khans tweet is meaningless considering Jericho has been an asshat for the past week and Jake Hager is on their roster who is basically the Colby Covington of AEW without any of the personality or talent

I just remember Bayley at Takover:London drug the only memorable Nia match Ive ever seen out of her...and even then, it was largely Bayley doing rag-doll selling for a lot of stuff. Then they re-ran it on the main roster and Bayley was injured for a while.

Yeah I just meant the Linda stuff. Why the hell would she want AEW tickets. And did Hulk do something new or is just the usual racist shit that has him banned?

But yeah, I’m sure more than half of both rosters have people that have questionable/disgusting beliefs. Doesn’t make it ok.

on a different note, didn’t Mercedes Martinez sign with NXT a while back? Whatever happened with that

The XFL banned kneeling. That was their USP in the awful Q&A to announce the thing.

So, was there ever any follow-up about that whole Velveteen Dream situation on social media a few weeks back?

They took it to the police. No word since. Only other thing that really came out was the kids having a racist group chat on Instagram so nobody knows if he was set up or not
